Student Records Privacy (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords eligible students certain rights regarding their education records, including the right to inspect and review those records, request amendment of records they believe are inaccurate or otherwise in violation of their privacy rights, provide written consent before 2021国产麻豆剧 discloses personally identifiable information from their education records except where FERPA authorizes disclosure without consent, and file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education. 2021国产麻豆剧 may disclose education records without consent in limited circumstances, including to school officials with legitimate educational interests, and may release directory information unless the student has restricted its release. Directory Information
2021国产麻豆剧 may designate certain student information as directory information and may release that information without the student鈥檚 written consent, unless the student has restricted its release. Directory information may include a student鈥檚 name, address, 2021国产麻豆剧 email address, photo, telephone number, date and place of birth, major field of study, dates of attendance, enrollment status, degrees, honors and awards received, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of athletic team members, degree candidacy, and most recent previous institution attended. Directory information is released in accordance with university policy and may be provided only after appropriate review. Access to Educational Records
Students have the right to inspect and review their education records maintained by 2021国产麻豆剧 within 45 days after the university receives a written request for access. Requests should identify the record or records the student wishes to inspect. 2021国产麻豆剧 will make arrangements for access and notify the student of the time and place where the records may be reviewed. If the requested records are not maintained by the office that receives the request, the student will be directed to the appropriate office.
